We first met at the Bryant Park Winter Village, 2024.

Simran was not feeling well, and was at Bryant Park rocking a face mask. Naturally, I asked her, “You missing a tooth?”. She was not amused.

Although we had an icy reception at the winter village, we ended up grabbing tea at Prince Tea House where the conversation warmed - neither of us knowing that this impromptu detour would be the start of something special. A simple cup of tea turned into three hours of conversation, laughter, and connection. The waiter eventually had to remind us that we had long surpassed the 90-minute limit. Somewhere during the conversation, the mask came off, and I was mesmerized—not just by her beauty, but by her mind, her warmth, and her spirit.

Fast forward to Summer 2026, as we prepare to get married, it’s incredible to see how quickly time has flown. Every moment with Simran has been filled with kindness, intelligence, and a playful charm that continues to captivate me. From that first cup of tea to this new chapter together, I am endlessly grateful for her love, laughter, and care.
