For Guests Wearing Non-Indian Attire:

Women: Dresses, skirts, or dress pants with a stylish top

Men: Dress pants with a button-down shirt, blazer optional

Feel free to add bright colors to match the festive spirit!

The Jaggo is lively and involves dancing, so comfort matters. Don’t forget to bring a scarf or stole if you want to add a festive touch, even with western attire!

Attire for the Gurdwara Ceremony

For the Gurdwara, we ask that guests dress modestly and respectfully:

Guidelines:

Cover your head: Both men and women should wear a scarf, dupatta, or turban while inside. The gurdwara does have head covering if you do not have your own.

Modest clothing: Please wear outfits that cover shoulders, arms, and legs. Traditional Indian attire like salwar kameez, sarees, lehengas, or kurta pajamas is perfect.

Footwear: Shoes and socks must be removed before entering the prayer hall.

Colors: All colors are welcome! Bright and festive colors are wonderful, but avoid flashy or overly casual attire.

Tip: If you’re renting or buying an outfit for the wedding, keep the Gurdwara ceremony in mind so you have a comfortable and respectful look.

Not wearing traditional Indian clothing? No problem!
